Pediatric Therasuit™ Therapy

Available at Free Motion Rehabilitation Center, the most successful approach in treatment of motor-neurological disorders: Therasuit Therapy. One of only a handful of clinics in the State of NJ to offer this type of therapy, this unique approach was developed by European therapists specifically to treat children with Cerebral Palsy and other neurological conditions.

The Therasuit is a form fitting suit, equipped with adjustable elastic bands, designed to put the body in proper alignment. Treatment in the suit stimulated the restarting of the developmental process of the vestibular system, which integrates all other functional systems of the body. TheraeSuit restrains postural muscles to move and stablilize in a proper way. This in turn stimulates development of the central nervous system thus normalizing motor development.

Universal Exercise Unit

System pulleys, straps and splints are utilized to perform a variety of exercises. This treatment improves strength, range of motion and muscle flexibility.

"Spider Cage"

A unique suspension through the dynamic system of elastic cords. It provides just the right amount of support needed and allows the patient to develop and improve functional skills.

Benefit from Intensive PT

My son continues to benefit from intensive PT. I believe it enables him to keep a good range of motion that he might otherwise lose. His balance has improved dramatically as well as sitting and also maintaining a hands and knees position. He has gained much control over his movements. They are much more purposeful and accurate than before.
