Insurance Information
Free Motion Rehabilitation Center works with most insurance policies including Medicare, Private Insurance, Motor Vehicle Insurance and Workers' Compensation Insurance. Please contact us at 732-901-8844 if you have any questions regarding your specific insurance carrier.
Although most insurance plans cover physical therapy treatment, they may be paid differently than a visit to your Doctor. There are plans the do require a co-payment and others that may recquire you to meet your deductible and percentage of your co-insurance. Other insurance carriers may even require a prior authorization. Because of these differences, we will always call your insurance company and verify your outpatient physical therapy benefits before your first visit so you have all of the information.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
We accept all insurance policies for motor vehicle accidents (MVA). Once we do an evaluation and get authorization for your insurance company, we can schedule an appointment. MVA claims are handled through your personal auto insurance, regardless of who was at fault in the accident. If someone else was responsible for your accident, we understand their insurance will be covering your medical expenses, however, it is standard industry practice to bill your insurance company first in order for them to maintain accurate records on your behalf and work to have those expenses reimbursed in a timely fashion. If your insurance is covering all expenses, we will verify your personal injury protection (PIP) benefit to ensure you have that coverage available. If your PIP is exhausted, we can bill your private insurance for any remaning balance that is not covered. Please notify us immediately of any insurance coverage changes.
Workers' Compensation
We accept most workers' compensation plans. Once we do an evaluation and get authorization from your insurance company, we can schedule an appointment. We are experienced in dealing with workers' compensation claims and we will be glad to assist you in your recovery. It is our goal to formulate a plan of care that will maximize your ability to return to work in accordance with your physician's recommendation. We will work closely with your physicians to ensure that the program we designed for you fits your capabilities and tolerance levels. How effective your personal plan is depends on: your ability to attend the necessary appointments recommended by your therapist and physician; your ability to perform the assigned exercises at home; and yout overall toerance to the therapy program. It is imperative that you maintain an open dialogue with your therapist so that everone involved in your case can be kept informed of your progress.
